These control line kits are specifically manufactured for .049 engines and are the kit of choice for many starting out in aero modelling and flying. Generally they are more affordable than larger-scale options making it a budget friendly entry to the hobby. The smaller size is an advantage if you don't have a dedicated workshop or vehicle to transport your finished model in for its first flight. The kits are straight forward making them an excellent project for those new to modelling teaching essential skills that will form the foundation for more advanced kits and flying styles. The variety of designs also provides builders or pilots with choice when it comes to their interest e.g. aerobatics, competition or just the 'look' of the model itself.
