Silkspan is a light, thin paper with a loose and random weave and much stronger than tissue, an less expensive and easier to work with compared to silk. Silkspan’s long grain weave provides wet-strength (This silkspan will not fall apart if applied wet). Silkspan is a good covering choice for lightweight airplanes
